Pascal Bornet positions himself as the preeminent bridge between enterprise technology and human-centric leadership, moving beyond the hype of generative AI to champion the era of agentic orchestration. His content strategy centers on the "assembly-line moment" of AI, where he pivots from technical pilots to the gritty realities of governance, organizational friction, and the "shadow AI" landscape. What makes Bornet notable is his refusal to equate automation with mere efficiency; he frequently critiques "performative busyness" and the "token improvement plan," arguing that AI should protect space for human wonder rather than just filling calendars. This creates a sophisticated intersection of high-level technical foresight and organizational psychology, where he treats corporate apathy and system design as technical debt that no model can fix without a fundamental shift in leadership philosophy.

Automation 101. Over the years, I have seen many automation projects fail for the same reason: teams try to automate the process before fixing it. The order should be simple: 🗑️ Eliminate what sho…

The most dangerous phrase in business is: "We have always done it this way."
But in 2026, there is a new version that is even more toxic: "We are doing it with AI now."
I spent the morning talking to a group of operations leaders. One of them shared a story that perfectly captures the current state of the market. They had automated a 12-step approval process using a fleet of AI agents.
The result?
The process still took six weeks.
Why?
Because they didn't fix the process. They just gave the bureaucracy a faster engine.
𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.
If you take a broken, siloed, and fearful culture and add AI, you don't get innovation. You get "automated friction."
For me, the real leadership challenge of the next decade is not technical integration. It is organizational unlearning.
→ We have to unlearn the need for constant oversight.
→ We have to unlearn the habit of "alignment theater."
→ We have to unlearn the idea that busyness equals value.
The future will not belong to the companies that deploy the most agents.
It will belong to the companies that have the courage to simplify their systems before they subsidize their complexity with tokens.
