Ricardo Viana Vargas positions himself as the authoritative bridge between traditional project governance and the frontier of agentic AI. His content strategy centers on demystifying complex technical shifts - such as the transition from LLMs to autonomous AI agents - while grounding them in the timeless executive disciplines of measurement, accountability, and strategic oversight. He is notable for his ability to translate high-level engineering concepts into practical workflows for senior leaders, moving beyond hype to focus on the "engineering glue" required for real-world implementation. This creates a powerful intersection where institutional leadership meets radical technological transparency, allowing him to lead a global community that values both the rigor of a PMI Fellow and the agility of a venture capitalist.

Hello everyone!
I recently spent some time reflecting on a concept that we often take for granted in project management: the difference between "busy" and "productive."
I came across a great chart by Sahil Bloom that illustrates this perfectly. It shows that the most successful people aren't those who work the most hours, but those who have the best "output per unit of time."
This is so true in our world of complex projects.
We often get caught up in the "noise" of meetings, emails, and status updates, forgetting that our primary goal is to deliver value, not just to stay active.
In my latest video, I discuss how to filter this noise and focus on the 20% of activities that drive 80% of the results.

The key is discipline.
It’s about saying "no" to the good so you can say "yes" to the great.
I truly hope this helps you rethink your schedule this week. 💡
