I spent three weeks building a productivity app that saves people seven seconds.

It has a beautiful dashboard, real-time sync, keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, and an AI assistant that can summarize the tasks you were already looking at.

The onboarding flow is incredibly smooth.

First, you connect your calendar.

Then, you connect your email.

Then, you connect your project management tool.

Then, you manually confirm every task the app imported from those three services.

The AI categorizes everything perfectly, except for the meetings that are actually deadlines, the deadlines that are actually reminders, and the reminders that I created five years ago and forgot existed.

But here is the real breakthrough: the app can tell me what I should be working on next.

It does this by analyzing urgency, importance, estimated effort, historical completion patterns, calendar availability, and the emotional state I entered during setup.

The recommendation was to finish configuring the recommendation engine.

So I did.

Now I have a productivity system that tracks my productivity, analyzes my productivity, summarizes my productivity, and sends me notifications asking why I am not being more productive.

It has reduced my daily planning time from 20 minutes to 18 minutes.

That is a 10% improvement.

I am preparing a case study.

The next version will include a focus mode that blocks the app while I am working inside the app.

Naturally, it will require an active subscription.

I’m calling it Flowstate Pro.

The free plan will include three tasks per month and unlimited reminders that you are almost out of tasks.
