You are not a resource.

You are a human being who happens to have resources.

The distinction matters because the industry has spent the last twenty years trying to turn you into a line item on a spreadsheet. They want you predictable. They want you scalable. They want you to function like a server in a basement.

But here is the truth: servers don't have intuition.

They don't notice the way a candidate's voice drops when they talk about their greatest achievement. They don't feel the tension in a room when a leader loses the thread of their own vision. They don't care about the 'why'—only the 'what.'

If you want to survive the next wave of automation, stop trying to be the most efficient person in the room.

Be the most observant.

Ask the question that makes everyone else uncomfortable. Follow the lead that doesn't fit the pattern. Spend your time on the things that don't scale.

Because the algorithm is coming for your efficiency. It can't touch your humanity.
