I finally figured out why my agentic workflows were hitting a wall every Friday afternoon.
It wasn't the models – it was the context window getting cluttered with "thought debris" from a week of iterations.
I spent the morning building a small utility called /flush to handle this.
Scan the current session for redundant plan files
Archive anything older than 24 hours into a /history folder
Re-summarize the active goal into a single .md file
I’ve been running it for 4 hours now and the latency drop is actually noticeable.
It’s one of those things that feels so obvious once you build it, but you suffer for months before actually sitting down to write the code.
If you're building complex projects with Claude or Opus, you probably need something like this to keep your "agent brain" from getting foggy.
