Daniel Miessler positions himself as a high-level architect of the AI transition, moving beyond hype to focus on building AI that upgrades humans and organizational efficiency. His content strategy centers on the "scaffolding" of professional work, arguing that AI’s true value lies in automating the invisible overhead of cybersecurity, programming, and consulting. He is notable for his ability to translate abstract agentic workflows into concrete competitive advantages, often critiquing tech giants like Google for their lack of vision-led product design. By blending cybersecurity expertise with agentic automation, Miessler offers a sophisticated value proposition that treats AI not as a replacement for talent, but as a tool for radical transparency and the commoditization of routine knowledge work.

The product management problems Google has had with for decades are now affecting them in AI as well. They invented transformers, and they're a distant third behind OpenAI (2) and Anthropic (1). The…
Met with our parter Tenable at RSA this week and got a walkthrough of their new Hexa AI offering. I really like how they're thinking about this. Most security platforms have the approach of, "here's…
AI is not competing with perfectly-run companies. The bar for visibility and transparency is on the absolute floor.
Just an absolutely wonderful event, and was the absolute best place to hang out during RSA. Wonderful people, great talks and events, and honestly just the perfect set of community vibes combined with…

I spent the afternoon looking at the new developer tools coming out of the valley, and it's becoming clear that we are entering the era of the 'Sovereign Developer'.
The barrier to entry for building complex, multi-layered applications is being obliterated. It's not just about writing code anymore; it's about the orchestration of intent.
In the old world, you spent 80% of your time on the 'plumbing'. You had to configure your environments, manage your dependencies, and fight with your CI/CD pipelines. It was a massive tax on creativity. Most developers weren't actually building; they were just maintaining the machinery that allowed them to build.
Well, guess what happens when the machinery becomes self-aware?
That. Entire. Tax. Vanishes.
The new tools are handling the scaffolding—the authentication, the database schemas, the deployment logic—at machine speed. This leaves the human with only one job: the high-level design and the 'sauce' that makes the product unique.
The part that caught my attention: we are seeing a shift from 'how to build' to 'what to build'.
If you're still focusing on the syntax and the plumbing, you're missing the forest for the trees. The value is moving up the stack, and it's moving faster than most people realize.
It basically turns a 10-person engineering team into a single architect with an army of agents.
If you're a founder or a lead dev and haven't looked at agentic orchestration yet, worth a look.
