I just realized that most B2B founders are playing a game of "telephone" with their customers, and it's why your churn is higher than a kite on a windy day 🤣

I was talking to a founder yesterday, let's call him Dave.

Dave is brilliant. He's got a product that literally prints money for his users, but he was complaining that no one stays for more than 3 months.

I asked him, "Dave, when was the last time you actually spoke to a user who WASN'T a support ticket?"

He looked at me like I had two heads haha

See, everyone is obsessed with "automated feedback loops" and "product-led growth" blablablablabla

But no one wants to pick up the phone and ask: "Hey, why do you actually use this?"

I'm telling you guys, you can't automate empathy.
