Reid Hoffman positions himself as the architect of superagency, moving beyond the role of a traditional venture capitalist to act as a philosophical and strategic steward of the AI era. His content strategy centers on the "refounding" of industries, where he bridges high-level geopolitical and ethical concerns with the pragmatic mechanics of AI supply chains and autonomous agents. He distinguishes himself by framing technological shifts not as inevitable forces of nature, but as a series of human-centric design choices that require social permission and moral courage. By intersecting deep-tech investment with a vocal defense of democratic values and educational initiatives like Hack Your Summer, Hoffman champions a future where distributed capability outweighs centralized control.

Excited to sit down with my friend Satya Nadella to talk about AI, the future of humanity, and going back into founder mode to cure cancer.
The Anthropic announcements are not, in the end, about Claude winning Wall Street. Goldman and Blackstone are picking a partner the way utilities picked turbine suppliers a century ago. The interes…
Vulnerability management has a math problem. Time to exploit has dropped to 10 hours in the Mythos era but scanners don’t ship detection signatures for 1-5 days and the average enterprise takes 60 da…
Satya Nadella believes the AI Industry needs to do more work to build trust with Americans. When you tell the world that AI will erase knowledge work and wipe out white-collar jobs, you've just told p…
"You don't have a lack of ideas. You have a lack of deadlines." That line hits differently when you know it comes from a man who has made a piece of art every single day for 18 years — including the d…

When you look at the history of computing, you see a recurring pattern: we overestimate what can be done in a year, but we fundamentally underestimate what can be done in a decade.
We are currently in the 'overestimate' phase of the AI transition. Everyone is looking for the killer app that justifies the trillion-dollar capex, but they are looking in the wrong place. The value isn't in the app; it's in the architecture of the agency.
I was talking with a group of founders last week about the 'cost of curiosity.' In the old world, asking a complex question of your data cost time, headcount, and compute. In the new world, that cost is falling toward zero. When curiosity becomes free, the nature of leadership changes: you are no longer rewarded for having the answers, but for having the better questions.
This is what I call the 'Inquiry Economy.'
In this new era, the most successful companies won't be the ones with the biggest models. They will be the ones that have earned the social permission to integrate those models into the fabric of their customers' lives. You don't get that permission through a terms-of-service update. You earn it by being on humanity's side, consistently and visibly.
We are building Manas AI with this exact philosophy in mind. It’s not just about the math; it’s about the mission.
If you're ready to build for the long decade, not just the short year, we should talk.
