They just launched Agentforce, a suite of autonomous agents that don't just "chat" about your data—they actually execute tasks across sales, service, marketing, and commerce.

→ Reasoning over RAG: The agents use a new "Atlas Reasoning Engine" to simulate how a human would plan a task.

→ Autonomous Execution: They can trigger workflows in Snowflake, AWS, and Google Cloud without a human in the loop.

→ Scale: They are claiming the ability to handle 2 billion interactions per week.

The pitch is simple: stop building "assistants" that wait for instructions. Start hiring "agents" that show up to work with a job description.

Of course, the reality is never as clean as the keynote.

↳ Integration complexity remains the biggest hurdle for most enterprises.

↳ Accuracy on long-tail customer service queries is still a moving target.

↳ The "per-conversation" pricing model might give CFOs a heart attack.

Yet, the signal is loud & clear.

The model is becoming a commodity. The workflow is the real product.

And once the interface is sticky enough, nobody wants to pay luxury prices for a replaceable brain.
