Luiza Jarovsky positions herself as a preeminent legal scholar and ethical sentinel at the intersection of AI governance and fundamental human rights. Her content strategy centers on dissecting global regulatory shifts—such as the EU AI Act and China’s anthropomorphism laws—while championing a "human-first" philosophy against the encroaching "mediocrity wave" of generative AI. She is notable for her ability to translate dense legislative developments into urgent, high-stakes narratives about the future of human dignity and intellectual autonomy. Jarovsky’s work represents a sophisticated intersection of academic rigor and entrepreneurial education, leveraging her newsletter and academy to bridge the gap between complex policy analysis and actionable professional training for the AI era.

🚨 The "Brussels Effect" is dying, and it’s being killed by a narrative of fear—not fear of AI, but fear of falling behind:
For years, the European Union prided itself on being the world’s "regulatory superpower." The idea was simple: set the highest standards for data protection and human rights, and the rest of the world will follow.
But something changed in the last six months.
As I analyzed in my recent report, the discourse has shifted from "how do we protect citizens" to "how do we remove the red tape."
We are seeing a systematic dismantling of digital safeguards under the guise of "competitiveness."
The Digital Omnibus is the perfect example. It proposes amendments to the GDPR that would have been unthinkable three years ago. It treats fundamental rights as obstacles to be cleared rather than the foundation of a democratic society.
The problem is that once you start compromising on human dignity for the sake of "innovation," there is no clear place to stop.
Privacy is being rebranded as "data silos"
Transparency is being rebranded as "bureaucracy"
Accountability is being rebranded as "innovation hurdles"
If we allow this narrative to take hold, we aren't just losing a few legal protections. We are losing the very thing that made the European model unique.
We should NOT mistake speed for progress.
A race to the bottom is still a race, but it’s one where everyone loses in the end.
