Hung Lee positions himself as the industry’s premier curator and intellectual architect, operating at the high-level intersection of recruitment technology and organizational philosophy. His content strategy centers on "Recruiting Brainfood," a value proposition that filters the noise of the talent landscape into actionable signals through deep-dive essays, live demos, and community polls. Lee is notable for his ability to translate abstract technological shifts—like vibe coding or agentic AI—into structural business implications, moving beyond simple tool reviews to explore how automation reshapes human skill acquisition. By blending high-concept cultural references with granular workflow optimization, he successfully bridges the gap between strategic HR leadership and hands-on talent acquisition, making him an indispensable guide for the modern, AI-integrated recruiter.

THE COMING COBOL-ISATION OF RECRUITING?
I've been thinking about the 'AI Dividend' and who actually gets to keep the change.
Last week on Brainfood Live, we touched on a terrifying thought: if we automate the 'entry level' tasks, how do the next generation of recruiters learn the fundamentals?
It's the Karate Kid problem.
If Daniel-san doesn't have to 'wax on, wax off' because a robot does it for him, he never develops the muscle memory for the real fight.
Basically, we might be creating a future where we have 'SuperWorkers' at the top who know how to prompt the machines, but a hollowed-out middle class of practitioners who don't actually know how to recruit without a screen in front of them.
We're moving toward a world where 'human-in-the-loop' becomes a luxury service.
Have a read of the full essay in this week's newsletter and let me know - are we automating away our ability to learn?
PS: Huge thanks to the team at Metaview for supporting this issue. If you want to see what actual 'intelligence' looks like in an interview, check them out.
