Coaching B2B sales teams to sound human in their outbound when everyone else sounds like AI | CEO @ AMP Social | SKO Speaker

Morgan positions himself as the premier advocate for human-centric outbound sales in an era of AI commoditization. His content strategy centers on the "MIC" method-developing magnetic, intuitive, and consistent sellers-while challenging leaders to define what their teams should actually do with the time AI frees up. He is notable for his "URL to IRL" philosophy, actively de-emphasizing digital vanity metrics in favor of deep local community building and physical events. By intersecting high-level AI prompt engineering with a rigorous focus on business acumen and critical thinking, Morgan carves out a unique space where technology is the floor, but human connection remains the ceiling for B2B revenue growth.

I was playing my N64 over the weekend and it made me think about my favorite N64 games of all time. Here are my top 12. 1. Paper Mario 2. Mario Party 2 3. Banjo-Kazooie 4. GoldenEye 007 5. Supe…
I've lived in Arizona for two years and realized something... there are zero B2B sales events in the Valley. Like none... I was like what in the world is going in?! So a year and a half ago 🔥 Tom S…

I believe SDRs and AEs should only be allowed to use 3 tools when they onboard the first 90 days. And I will defend this until the end. Yep I said it and I am taking it there. Hear me out though befo…
If I were an SDR leader and I onboarded 10 reps tomorrow.. the first thing I would focus on is something nobody is talking about right now. Spoiler alert it has nothing to do with AI. Getting the tea…
I spoke at the Funnel 26’ conference last week in Austin with 100 SDR leaders in the room for my keynote. I asked one question that had the room split. “Are you all afraid that AI is going to take y…

I sat down with a founder yesterday who is burning $50k a month on "AI-powered" outbound. He showed me his sequences and I almost dropped my coffee. It was the most robotic, soul-less garbage I've seen in 10 years of doing this.
Me: "Who wrote this?"
Him: "The AI did. It's optimized for deliverability."
Uh oh.. we have officially lost the plot.
We are so obsessed with the "efficiency" of the message that we've completely forgotten about the "efficacy" of the human on the other end.
Because here's the reality...
Your buyers don't care that you can send 10,000 emails with the click of a button. They care that you actually understand their business.
Within 6 months, every single one of your competitors will have the same Claude prompts and the same agents. The "AI advantage" is about to become a commodity.
So what's left?
The MIC method.
↳ Magnetic: Does the buyer actually feel something when they read your name?
↳ Intuitive: Can your rep pivot when the prospect says "we're focused on EBITDA this year"?
↳ Consistent: Are they showing up with the same energy on Tuesday as they do on Friday?
If your team is just copying and pasting AI research into a LinkedIn DM without connecting the dots... you aren't selling. You're just a glorified data entry clerk.
I'm pro AI. I use it every single day to speed up my workflow.
But I am pro human first.
The teams winning right now are using AI to find the ingredients, but they're still doing the cooking themselves. They're building business acumen. They're learning how to read the room.
They're becoming humans who happen to sell.
Don't let your team become a group of prompt-monkeys.
Build the human muscle now while everyone else is outsourcing their brain to a bot.
The algorithm will change.
The tech will evolve.
But the ability to connect with another person? That's forever.
P.S. Are you training your reps to think... or just to prompt? Let's talk about it in the comments.
