Mich Lieben positions himself as a GTM operator-turned-product founder, translating experience from a $7M ARR outbound agency and 300+ client campaigns into ColdIQ and adjacent tools. His content centers on practical, highly specific systems for signal-based outbound, deliverability, data orchestration, and agentic workflows using Claude Code, APIs, MCP, and tools like Instantly and folk. What distinguishes him is the unusually tight loop between teaching and execution: he benchmarks tools, demonstrates campaigns live, and productizes the lessons inside his own stack. He also connects LinkedIn audience-building to measurable pipeline, turning employee-led content into a repeatable growth engine rather than treating personal branding as a separate marketing exercise.

Don’t send more emails.
Send better reasons to reply.
For the last 12 months, we’ve been running campaigns across dozens of GTM teams.
The biggest improvement didn’t come from a new copywriting framework.
It came from connecting the right signals before the first email was written.
1️⃣ Find the change
A company hiring 20 sales reps is different from one that just raised a round.
A company switching CRM is different from one that is happy with its current setup.
A founder posting about pipeline problems is different from a founder who hasn’t mentioned sales once.
The change tells you why now.
2️⃣ Find the right person
Don’t stop at the company level.
Find the person who owns the problem.
→ VP Sales for a pipeline issue
→ Head of RevOps for a CRM change
→ Founder for a new market or funding round
→ Recruiting leader for a hiring surge
Same account.
Different message.
3️⃣ Build the message around the signal
Hi, noticed you work at {{company}}.
Saw you’re hiring 15 SDRs. That usually creates a data and routing problem before it creates more pipeline.
The first message proves you found the account.
The second message proves you understand what changed.
4️⃣ Add value before the ask
A campaign idea based on their new market
A short teardown of their current funnel
A list of similar companies
A benchmark from other teams at the same stage
The value doesn’t need to be huge.
It needs to be relevant.
5️⃣ Use the right channel
Some signals work better on LinkedIn.
Some belong in email.
Some should trigger a call, a gift, or a manual introduction.
Strength of the signal
Seniority of the contact
Existing relationship
Potential account value
Speed at which the signal will go stale
The best campaigns aren’t the ones with the most automation.
They’re the ones where automation decides when not to automate.
Signals: PredictLeads, Explorium
Contact data: Prospeo.io, GetLeads
Enrichment: FullEnrich
Orchestration: ColdIQ, Claude Code
Email: Instantly.ai
LinkedIn: Expandi
CRM: folk
One workflow finds the change.
Another identifies the person.
A third writes the message.
Then the system sends it through the channel most likely to get a reply.
That’s how we’re scaling outbound without turning it into spam.
Which signal is driving your best campaigns right now?
PS: I’m breaking down the full workflow in a live session next week. Link in the comments :)
