  • Constraints: budget, tooling limits, compliance rules, headcount, and time.
  • Coordination costs: meetings, handoffs, approvals, and rework.
  • Information asymmetry: nobody has the full picture, but everyone has a piece.

These forces create predictable behavior, like objects in motion following physics. You can be brilliant and still get slowed down by the system.

Now imagine an agentic AI that can:

  • Decide what to do next without being asked each step
  • Pull data from multiple systems
  • Draft plans, messages, and tickets
  • Trigger actions in tools (CRM, Jira, email, cloud consoles)
  • Learn from outcomes and try again

You are no longer automating a single task. You are introducing a new actor into the coordination layer of the business.
